1971 Hawke DL-5
The engine was built by Ron Appleton or Appleton Autoworks. He has built many winning Porsche motors including a Carrera Panamericana winning Porsche 356. The engine was freshened in August of '97. Appleton built the rear brake setup also. It has drum rears but can be returned to disk very quickly. (RMVR requires the original drum setup). The car is pre-72 and with this drum setup is legal with all vintage clubs.
